Curriculum

At Jigsaw we endeavour to provide a fun, home from home experience which allows each child to feel comfortable and reach their full potential. We believe that the best way to learn is through free exploration and each of our stimulating activities are based on the EYFS curriculum. The EYFS considers 7 learning areas which are physical development, PSED, communication & Language, literacy, maths, EAD and understanding of the world. During our settling sessions at Jigsaw, we complete a detailed "getting to know me" pack which includes realistic, first aims and objectives for each child. This will be completed by the key person and parent which will provide the best outcome for the child.

Each child will be allocated a key person, who is responsible for the personal development of your child. At Jigsaw, we know that daily communication is essential to your child's development and so we make sure to offer detailed feedback forms of your child's day (this also includes food consumed throughout the day). We value our partnership with our parents and encourage regular communication which will help us to have the best impact on your child's learning.

We conduct Parents evenings each term to inform you of your child's learning journey and to discover all that they have achieved! This is another great opportunity for our parents to be involved in their child's journey here at Jigsaw nursery!
